Internship Programme

Looking Forward runs a 3-month internship programme for emerging curators, art administrators and artists who want to gain hands-on experience within an international not-for-profit art organisation.

Looking Forward internships can provide a foundation in a variety of skills, and offer experience and contacts for future careers. Our interns engage in all aspects of the day-to-day operations and gain invaluable experience while being introduced to a vast network of international art professionals.

Interns actively participate and perform duties in some of these areas:

• Support organising and delivering our programme of events

• Writing and editing copy for various projects

• Arts Administration & Fundraising Support

• Potential partner research; identifying best contact person at identified institutions

• Assist with finding and/or developing content for our website and social media

Preferred candidates will be passionate about expanding access to art with skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, research, communications, writing, and building interpersonal relationships. Any age welcome.

Location: our offices in Canary Wharf

Hours: circa 6 - 12 hours per week
