Felipe García Salazar is a trans-disciplinary artist who, starting from personal investigations in the urban and rural surroundings of Barcelona, exposes his own relation with time, history and identity matters through artistic practice. His work presents an opportunity for the public to engage with open questions related to process of urbanisation and landscape renovation that the artist discusses aesthetically in his work.
The conversation is part of the project Primal Distance, curated by Carolina Lio for LOOKING FORWARD in partnership with Sant Andreu Contemporani, City of Barcelona, and Institut Ramon Llull.
Primal Distance is a multilayered project about the implications of distance. It encompasses an online platform, a public programme and a publication.
