In this video, Malini Kochupillai and Mahavir Singh Bisht, founders of Khirkee Voice, are in conversation with Visible curator Carolina Lio.

Khirkee Voice is a quarterly publication produced and distributed in the urban village of Khirki Extension, south of New Delhi. The population of Khirki is largely constituted by immigrants, especially from Somalia and Afghanistan, that face discrimination and struggle to integrate.

Through the community newspaper, free skill development workshops and open spaces for dialogue, Khirkee Voice creates shared platforms between locals, members of the African diaspora and Afghan refugees.
