Joan Pallé (b. Lleida, 1989) lives and works between Barcelona and Basel. By working across different media and languages, his artistic research interweaves elements of critical thinking and popular culture with references to countercultural movements. His works have been shown at: Centre d’art La Panera (Lleida), Galería Lucía Mendoza (Madrid), Museu can Framis (Barcelona), Fabra i Coats (Barcelona), Museu Can Framis (Barcelona), Le Beffroi Ville de Montrouge (Paris), Kunstbygningen and Vrå, Højskolevej (Denmark) among others.

He is recipient of several art residences and research grants, supported by: HISK, (Ghent), Fundació Jiser (Algiers), Jeune Creation Européenne (Paris), la Escocesa (Barcelona), Sala d’art jove and MACBA (Barcelona), Galeria Trama (Barcelona), among others. He lectured and held workshops at the University of Lleida, MACBA (Barcelona), Baumannlab (Barcelona), Bishops Gate Institute Archive (London). He is completing a MA in Fine Arts at FHNW Academy of Art and Design (Basel) and he holds a BA in Fine Arts (2017) from the University of Barcelona.
