A free online event providing a guide to the Research and Development funds and tailored advice on your application drafts.

Want to apply for a grant of the Arts Council England as an individual practitioner?

ACE is pausing the Developing Your Creative Practice grant until April 2026. In the meantime, to meet the needs of individual artists and practitioners, they have launched a Research and Development fund within National Lottery Project Grants.

This 90-minute online session will break down what ACE is looking for, explore successful strategies for strong applications, and offer practical advice on planning your project, budgeting, and increasing your chances of success.

What You’ll Learn:

✅ Overview of the application: aims, eligibility, and questions you'll be asked.

✅ How to structure a compelling application that speaks directly to ACE's priorities.

Who is this for?

Artists, curators and other creatives aiming to apply for the Research and Development fund.
